The whole "reloading" ship hunting idea. Posted: 16 May 2020 06:06 AM PDT I actually much prefer just waiting it out at space stations. I talk to all the pilots regardless of their ship and buy any pugneum or platinum they sell to refine into nanites. I scrap any S class ships (and large A class ones) to get S class upgrade module and storage augmentations. Did this yesterday. Spent 100,000,000 units all day but made 20,000 nanites, 16 S class ship upgrades and 44 storage augmentations (and hundreds of A class upgrades that are always useful for disposable ships and playing around with). Buying ONE storage upgrade would have cost me 130,000,000+ units on its own. Note: The pilots inventories repeat. So when you start coming across ones that DO sell platinum or pugneum but you've already bought it, then just save and reload. I just feel this is time better spent completing many objectives rather than just saving and reloading for hours to complete one objective. Its all well and good finding that S class...but you're going to need things to actually upgrade it anyway. Edit. You can sell unwanted upgrade modules from ship scrapping for even more nanites.
