    Can we have a definitive thread on how to do Nexus missions with your Friend group?

    Hey all, Just noticed that there is a lot of conflicting threads and information on the subreddit from over the years regarding one topic: how to do a Nexus mission with your Friends.

    Background:

    • It's a known glitch that if you are in a group of 2, 3, or even 4 people, you can summon Anomalies and not end up in the same Anomaly instance
    • My group of friends has found that sometimes we can get 1-2 of us in the same Anomaly, but the 3rd and/or 4th member of the group loads into a different instance of the anomaly, and thus cannot "queue up" into the same multiplayer mission

    Solutions:

    There are some threads discussing potential solutions to this problem, and I wanted to list them to see if anybody has experience with doing missions with a 2-4 person group of friends.

    If anyone can confirm whether these solutions work, that'd be great.

    1. Start a Friend group. Summon the Anomaly and fly in together, and -- regardless of whether you're in the same instance of the Anomaly or not -- leave the group and rejoin. Potentially will sync players to the same instance?

    2. Do not start a Friend group. Summon the Anomaly and fly in. Start the Nexus mission and then invite your friends to the group. Will this successfully sync the group to the same Anomaly and allow the Nexus mission to be done as a group?

    3. Start a Friend group. Summon the Anomaly and fly in. Everyone start the same Nexus mission (regardless of being in the same instance of the Anomaly). Will being in the Friend group cause all the players to be in the same instance of the Mission?

    If anybody has insight about getting this to work, I thought it'd be nice to start 2020 with a concise thread about how to do Nexus missions reliably with a pre-made group.

    Especially because many new players have just joined due to the Steam sale -- it would be very useful to know how to do the Daily missions consistently with friends.
