On my first playthrough, I met someone who is very nice and represent extremely kind community of NMS. I played my first ever few hours with him and he gave me millions of units. He made me buy A - S class ships, freighter etc. I was a billionaire in about 10 hour.

I didn't know back then this would harm the first impressions of the game and experience.

After about 20 hours, with all these wealth, the game feels pointless and meainingless. Since I was a billionaire, there was nothing I can do.

I didn't need to mine resources, because I was a billionaire. I could buy them.
I didn't have to loot worthy crystals because I was a billionaire. Who cares.
I didn't need to care about ship / exosuit slots and what they mean because my ships got all of them. Drop pods? Who cares, I can upgrade my exosuit for a few millions.
I didn't have to care about different selling prices by stations.
I didn't have to check any, any of the ships or frieghters. He made me get a living ship, an exotic and A class Hauler.
I didn't get that nice experience the upgrade my ship step by step.
I didn't get the nice experience to compare the milti-tools and upgrade mine.
I didn't know the feeling of making money from farming. And I would never need it to make money.

This can go on...

So, please don't give millions of worth items or units to the players, if especially they are new at this game. It will harm their gameplay experience, rather than boost it.

What happened after that?

I started a new game to sing the song from Drake "Started from the bottom, now we're here". Someone gave me 50 mill. worth item on the Anomaly in my first hours again; but this time I discarded it. No need. I want the experience, not a creative mode.

Giving millions of units to the random players on Anomaly, would give them wrong impression that game is shallow and pointless. Because they didn't know. It would be like jackpot. But you know right now.
