I made a spreadsheet of all 544 planets I've explored in the Euclid galaxy. Here are the statistics!

I explore planets and scan animals and plants as my main way of making money. Since the in-game methods of tracking where you've been are inconsistent, I made a spreadsheet of every planet I've ever been to, from the start of my save file until now. I try not to be biased between the colors of star system that I visit, or how planets there are in a system. All-in-all I've explored 544 planets in full, and here are some statistics from my spreadsheet:

    Extreme planets

    • 107 planets (19.7%) have extreme weather
    • 59 planets (10.8%) have sentinels that attack on sight
    • 15 planets (2.8%) have both of these

    Planet biome

    • 66 Frozen planets (12.1%)
    • 67 Toxic planets (12.3%)
    • 64 Paradise planets (11.8%)
    • 55 Irradiated planets (10.1%)
    • 61 "Hot" desert planets (11.2%)
    • 49 "Cold" desert planets (9.0%)
    • 81 "Anomalous" planets (14.9%)
    • 67 Airless planets (12.1%)
    • 34 Exotic planets (6.2%)
    • 116 (21.3%) of worlds are moons, the other 428 (78.7%) are planets

    Presence of water

    • 315 (57.9%) of the worlds I visited had a biome where there *could* be water
    • 159 of these 315 worlds actually did have water (50.5% of water possible worlds, 29.2% of all worlds)

    Predatory creatures

    • On 156 worlds (28.7%) I discovered at least one land creature which is carnivorous
    • On 39 worlds (7.2%) I noted described the danger from land creatures as "elevated"
    • On 6 worlds (1.1%) I noted the danger from land creatures as "extreme"
    • Of the 159 water-having worlds, 33 of them (20.8%) had predatory water creatures
    • On planets with more than one underground species, there is 90% chance one or more is hostile

    Planet names

    • Planet names can start with any letter of the alphabet, but A is most common
    • 55 planets had names that started with A (10.1%)
    • Five letters (F, J, Q, X, and Z) each account for less than 1% of planet names
    • Aamaryist J35 is the alphabetically first planet in my dataset, Zuzum XI is alphabetically last

    Miscellaneous:

    • 4 planets (0.7%) have diplos; two of them (0.3%) have mega-diplos
    • On 20 planets (3.7%) I noted the presence of abundant megafauna
    • Frozen moons were surprisingly rare in my dataset, with only five examples (0.9%)
    • Several planets' names were words or personal names. Specific examples from my dataset include Sara, Darren XIV, Lois Sigma, and Memo.

It always looks promising, at first, and then the bad news... Color me SURPRISED, no storms, and no sentinels! "Mild rain", whatever that means, but no weather there during the hour I wandered. There's a little doggy pred, but rarely seen. Galaxy 12
