    Sounds familiar...

Standing on one of my frigates, I glance back toward the planet. I've always wanted to say this, I can't resist...... "Hey! I can see my house from here!"

    Gas giants?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 09:29 AM PST

Just a little idea I had. I think planets could actually have even more diversity. Such as planet size affecting gravity and having super earth like planets added would make it a lot more fun to explore. Gas giants are also an idea I had where they are at least 2x the size of normal planets and can have up to 4 moons but on the planet if you fly too low in the clouds you get a pressure warning which will slowly damage the ship the further in you go, there could be structures like the cloud cities on bespin from Star Wars for example. The size of planets could also be accurate/to scale on the galaxy map to give an idea of the types of planets a player might encounter. I think it'd be pretty cool to warp into a system and be greeted by a massive planet in front of me, tell me what you think.

Silly question: is it possible to travel to a different solar system without using the galaxy map and your hyperdrive?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:42 AM PST

I've only been to two different star systems so far (only about 10 hours in) and I think I've seen about everything each one has to offer. Out of sheer curiosity, is using the galaxy's map the only way to traverse the galaxy, or is there a way to fly to a different one without using a hyperdrive? Thanks in advance!
