    What I learned building a base in a cave.

    I landed on an unremarkable planet with atrocious weather and ducked down underground to get away from a super heated storm, only to find an absolutely gorgeous cave system. I decided to make a fully underground base with the aim of altering the terrain as little as possible, so the base conformed to the topology of the planet. What I learned was...

    1: Don't build a base in a cave

    2: Right angled triangles and square building pieces are desperately needed and would expand building possibilities by 1000%

    3: Don't build a base in a cave.

    4: I love making complicated staircases.

    5: Apparently weather just happens underground if you're not standing on a base piece so probably don't build a base in a cave.
