I've tried posting a similar thread before but people are STILL spending 5mil or more on a locator for a derelict freighter, or waiting once a week for their free one from the Nexus.

STOP THIS MADNESS.

Just go shoot small asteroids for a few minutes, and you will collect a bunch of 'Anomaly Detectors'.

Use an anomaly detector and then hit pulse drive to scan the system. You will get a result in seconds.

Sometimes it's a space jellyfish that you can shoot for a huge amount of resources.

Sometimes it's a listening post for a nip dealer, which does nothing.

And sometimes you get a derelict freighter.

There is NO cost involved, and NO time restrictions on these. I've been farming asteroids for a while and have saved a fair bunch for use. Already done a few sweeps of derelicts as well as the other stuff and it hasn't cost me anything.

SAVE UNITS.

KILL ASTEROIDS.

SPREAD THE NEWS (or at least can this please be stickied?)
