I made a Biome Guide so people can check what type of planet it is before they land on it. Particularly useful for finding Glitch Planets. A more detailed infographic about what you can expect to find on each biome is coming shortly.

For next update, I wish they worked on more diverse procedural generation of planets

I understand this topic has been mentioned several times and devs responded that the reason they haven't added multiple biomes to planets is "because there would be no incentive to visit other planets."

I disagreed with that statement for a couple of reasons:

-This logic works both ways. There is no incentive to explore a planet either, since once you land on a single spot on a planet, you've seen it all. It's just variations of the same terrain and theme. Give me a reason to go on an adventure on this one pretty planet I discovered.

-Planets are finite. They are big, but they are not planet big. People aren't going to be roaming around a single planet forever.

Take a look at our planet Earth. You have vast deserts, you have frozen landscapes, you have giant lush forests, rainforests, grassy planes, mountain chains, dry bush areas, tropical coastal areas, swamps. All of that on a single planet.

My second wish, and this one probably controversial, is to tone down the "prettiness" on planets. I feel like every single planet I visit is absolutely loaded with all kinds of flashing, shiny floating orbs and crystal formations. This flashiness was great the first 3 times I played the game, but then it gets dull to the point they no longer produce the "wow" effect.

    Thoughts?
