I needed salt for "floral titration" (not a thing) to pull phosphorous out of a huge stockpule of solanium. So, i slapped a stack of sodium and one of chlorine into my refiner. No possible output. Ok, weird, so i go to put the sodium back in my inventory and surprise! Chlorine alone turns directly into salt? Look, I don't want to have to reference a periodic table to play this game either, but it's friggin salt! NaCl! Everyone knows that compound! Nerd rage subsiding...
